Music Composer & Artist

APINANT

A completely self-taught independent music composer and artist who has never formally studied music theory. Beginning with nothing but raw passion and a smartphone, the journey of APINANT is an evolution of breaking traditional boundaries through intricate sound design, psychological horror scores, avant-garde audio engineering, and profound emotional orchestrations.

Musical Journey & Milestones

2023
August – September
Started making music entirely through passion, utilizing a basic mobile setup centered on Walkband and Capcut to layer and arrange compositions. Driven by an intense fascination with cinematic soundtracks, this era birthed a 5-track Batman project and two separate 5-track Spiderman projects. Operating strictly on raw instinct without knowing music theory, chords were chosen by ear, rhythms were rigid, and mixing was non-existent. Yet, it captured an unrefined, skyrocketing melodic energy. (Most tracks have since been archived)
October – December
Expanded musical horizons by diving into anime soundtracks and developing a deep affection for Emotional Strings. Began experimenting with complex drum layers, diverse instrumentation, and entirely new genres, including Sci-Fi and Horror. Entered a prominent soundtrack competition for a major horror franchise, solidifying a diverse portfolio of early experimental works at just 15 years old.

2024
February – May
Transitioned into digital audio mixing, working heavily on mockups and cover tracks to master tempo control and melodic phrasing. Birthed the ambitious 5-track album project Kung Fu Dog, heavily inspired by highly animated, high-energy cinematic scoring styles.
June – December
Reached a major creative milestone in emotional soundtrack composition, developing a distinct signature style seen in original albums like Yume no Owari (2024), focusing on hyper-detailed string arrangements. This period marked an explosion of genre fluidity, producing high-energy tracks across EDM, Drum & Bass, Dubstep, and Phonk.
The Late 2024 Breakthroughs
Entered a second major horror franchise soundtrack competition, which inspired the creation of "The End of The World"—the first official release on global streaming platforms. The track showcased intense psychological tension, massive builds, and raw horror dynamics. Concluded the year with project Winter, an ambient, atmospheric Christmas-themed project that completely redefined APINANT's approach to spatial audio mixing.

2025
(A year of balancing a passion for automotive design with an absolute creative peak in mobile music production)
January – June
Pushed sound design to its absolute limits with a series of emotional horror singles. Crafted highly psychological, borderline erratic jumpscares and avant-garde sound manipulation—uniquely pitch-shifting custom-mixed brass sections (trumpets and trombones) to shatter traditional dynamics. Notable works from this period include a full cinematic re-arrangement of Werewolf by Night, The Maw (a study in tactical silence and psychological pacing), and Abnormal (an unsettling, ambient horror piece) Simultaneously expanded into romance scoring, mastering complex, heartbreakingly beautiful emotional string arrangements that required days of meticulous micro-editing.

Endline (2025)

June – December
Refined the production style into a polished, international "less is more" standard. Launched Endline (2025), 5-track psychological horror ambient album themed around being trapped in a desolate train station, utilizing hyper-realistic environmental foley. Followed by a groundbreaking 4-track re-imagining of contemporary cinematic scores, elevating mobile-production standards to a major film-score level.

The Present : Returning with a deeply matured, intensely raw, and highly experimental vision.
